Unbound by Curiosity; Awakened in Wonder
Howdy! My name is Jasmine, but you're welcome to call me Jazzy or Jazz. Since earning my master's in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, I've developed expertise supporting a diverse range of clients, ages 8 to 50, navigating concerns related to trauma, life transitions, parenting, behavioral challenges, grief, neurodivergence, gender, and sexuality. In my free time, I enjoy watching thrillers, making art, cuddling our dog, trying new foods, and being a goofball.
I believe growth and healing are possible if we maintain a compassionate curiosity about ourselves, our experiences, and the patterns that shape our lives. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed, often integrating elements of motivational interviewing, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, and solution-focused therapy. Additionally, I tend to incorporate humor, creativity, and your specific preferences as a means of strengthening our therapeutic relationship, fostering meaningful change, and normalizing the valuable differences among us.
I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves. Whether you're hoping to untangle old patterns, better understand your emotions, or simply find a space to breathe and reflect, I'm here to support you.
